We had some casters die several times from adds and bats. The named adds just swarmed us like crazy too and took forever to kill off, but we were stubborn and prevailed!

I'm sure that trick was used by high end guilds for forever to make it an easier event. No reason to discuss it on the forums. Mayong was awesome as hell. I wanted to ask, while we were in the library "So, how do we plan on handling all the named adds?" But I was so hazy by that point, that I thought everyone heard my brain want to ask the question, but just didn't feel like answering. I think we could have been a teeny bit better prepared, if each of us tankables had taken one of the hard namers to different spots in the room, and had a curer for ourselves. Enok's pet, Matt, me, Tirr, Graebec... and at that amount of tanks, just letting DPS work on gargoyles to start with, then lochmaul, then spider... If we can get 5'ish tanks regularly when we want to do this event, it should go more smoothly. I'll try to gear up Draygos before the next time we do this, it was ridiculous that he was dieing as soon as bats popped unless I hit weaponshield. Overall, freaking amazing fight, and -I want his sword!-

I think we will have to continue to split it up though, like Friday tier 1, Saturday tier 2, Sunday Mayong. That's technically a lot of raiding, but we seem to have the enthusiasm for the events. I hope you got enough rest. I think even if we only get 6-10 people for Friday we'll be okay, as long as we get 10-14 for Saturday. I'd actually be okay with skipping a week, and getting tier one out of the way on Thursdays. The best way for them to go faster, (except the performer, really, that just seems like it goes a certain amount of time, and you don't need a ton of people on for that, plenty can camp out who don't have the macros at the ready), is for us to have more dps classes that have enduring DPS, rogues, magicians, and so on. We could fill our ranks with bards and rangers again... Chuckles There's also the benefit of ability to deal with different types of adds if we have all of our bards and rangers awake for the events. Please remind me Thursday, to copy my hotbuttons from my UI file, or someone else do it, to post in a guild strategies post somewhere? I can't remember the last battle that lasted over an hour. I definately think we could make much better time on later attempts, having learned what we've learned. Getting people thier Performer hotkeys in advance would be the single hugest timesaver, I think. I was just not able to understand what was required in the performer event and did not want to mess you all up! Maybe if someone has an hour of spare time; they could teach this slow learner? ((The problem is that I type with two fingers, making several mistakes as I go, while looking at the key board. By the time I look up at the screen, everything has scrolled off up and is gone. If I tab out to web pages to read, I miss all the instructions. I was unaware how complicated the Performer event was, until it was being explained.)) Anyhow, I would like to join next time, but will need detailed instructions prior to the event. I don't know how you all type, move and do what you do simultaneously! If things get too complicated, I do not enjoy the event. Please point and say shoot that; then I'm happy! grins sheepishly

I made quite a few mistakes the first time around, but the second time around I only had 3 mistakes ((2 because of a double click)). But yeah, setting up for it was a headache to say the least.
