The insults the foul dragon threw toward him and at the strength of the army he could muster scarred him heavily. The title of Dragonslayer he has earned from his countless battles with these fearsome creatures seemed to falter time after time, defeat after defeat. Matthyas's confidence in himself and his abilities waned. But with the help of a plate-clad magician, a crazy bard, a wise druidess, a fat ogre, and a stout halfling, this group of people have conquered the newly discovered lands of Underfoot in record time and the Paladin's power grew. Combined with the support of his beloved family in the Sigils, time has healed not only the paladin's wounds but his confidence. Now the time has come for vengeance! My friends, we have some unfinished business in the lands where the Dragons of Norrath reside. Let us take our righteous anger to the dragon that deserves it the most, Vishimtar the Fallen! I call upon everyone of the 70th season to rise up and resist! Resist the failures we've had, resist the setbacks we've had, and resist the frustration we've had against this foul dragon! If we rise up together nothing can stand before us! This dragon shall know defeat by our hands and our hands soon! We'll start gathering at 8pm EST at the dragon head in Lavastorm. The channel will be Vish. I hope to see many of you there. For Vengeance!!! Also, be sure to bring egg beaters (blunt weapons for the eggs) -Matthyas Lionheart 85 Paladin of Rodcet Nife Grand Sigil of the Mighty Dragonslayer extraordinaire. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Almost a month passes and Matthyas's attempts at making himself stronger and others around him have been successful. Working through the forge, sweating profusing, he has successfully made several templates, armor pieces, symbols, and seals to equip so many Sigils within the newly discovered lands of the Underfoot. The secrets of the cosgrove have almost all been revealed thanks to boldness and courage of several Sigils, including himself. His obsession with the fiendish dragons continues to grow as strong as everyone else has become. Can you hear me, Vishimtar? The Paladins asks within the confines of his private quarters. Your time is at an end. The board is set, the pieces are moving. You will pay for the suffering we all have had to endure. You will pay and we will grow stronger from your remains. Your days are numbers fiendish, accursed dragon. My legacy as a dragonslayer will return to me as it IS rightfully mine! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Epilogue Matthyas turns around as someone snaps a screenshot of him and all of his friends right next to a fallen black dragon. Vishimtar The Fallen had finally been put to rest. The curse the stalwart Paladin had upon defeat ages ago had been lifted. He proudly accepts the title of Dragonslayer as his own again. This isn't a case of "let's bring the 70s to get good twink gear," this is a case of "let's bring the most power we can because this is one tough dragon."

The problem is they have long since retired their mains and it's like pulling teeth to get them to play them, but whatever, I'll let them know.

It's now Trusty (Stedfast) and Ambiena (Ocikat)) Sted said he's not comfortable raiding as Trusty until he's closer to 80 so it looks like he will for sure be playing his level 85. There are also a couple of other Sec B'ers who have shown interest in coming along. I'm looking forward to a great turn out and seeing Vish defeated!

When we would discuss what should we do tonight our first thing to determine was do we want to play Group A (Our mains) or Group B. As we grew in numbers and strength we decided guild facilities would be quite helpful so in toying around with a name we landed on Section B. That's about it. I have three "ayes" so far for Vish. Sted, Oci, and Laeen our 71 ranger.

Also. as some of you might be aware there are problems reported in the EQ live forums about DoN including entering Broodlands. I will be keeping an eye on this and at some point attempt to enter the Vishimtar instance myself.
