Hello, my name is Celder. I am a cleric of my 75th season in the service of Tunare. As a high elf cleric, I have learned to be very respectful and honorable. Its has been my lifes work, and distinct pleasure to have had many adventures perusing and setting forth the will of the Mother upon the enemies of light. I keep needed focus on execution of the will of the Mother by working to shun the aloof nature of my people, preferring to maintain a humble or common lifestyle, welcoming to all. For instance, many would reward me with title or surname for which I politely refuse, thanking them heartily for their flattery, before quietly return to my calling. I am aware of two flaws in my personally, (this isnt to say there exists no others). First, due to my personal zeal for bring to bare the will of the mother upon the enemies of light, and for the excitement of battle itself, I often find myself irresistibly drawn into a battle, (only when the health of my party isnt in question of course). The second flaw I have no first hand knowledge of. There have been two members of my order who are known to be very reliable that have on separate occasions reported to me that I have on very rare occasion behaved as if I believed I were a pirate. They have assured me that I was at these times perfectly harmless, but very convincing with song, sword waving, and excessive drink.
I was the second born male to an aristocratic family in Felwithe, considered by many to be amongst the most prosperous families of my people. I was sent to work in the church at a very young age, (a customary practice amongst the well to do families). Since I was raised in the church, my parents and family were little more than close acquaintances that would visit on holiday or special family events. Please dont misunderstand me, I neither lament my fate nor resent my parents for theyre decision because its truly my calling and My passion to restore life and health to the worthy. Though the relationship with my family could be described as awkward at times, my parents are proud of me, their forest home, and share my calling to protect and serve its inhabitants. We find the Wood elf rangers and druids of the Faydark to be amongst our closest allies in our struggle.
